A place full of history since the aboriginal kings (or "guanartemes") were situated in Agaldar. The centre of the city was declared Historic Assembly in 1981 conserving various buildings.

The house is very close to the Museum and Archaeological Park "Cueva Pintada" where you can see history of the original inhabitants of Gran Canaria.

Although probably the realization in 1862 of a number of agricultural jobs related to the cultivation of cactus for raising cochineal led the serendipity of the " Cueva Pintada ", is not until 1873 when its official discovery date.

For sea lovers the coast is just 10 minutes from the house, and the nearest beach Playa de Sardina. Sardina is one of the better areas of the island to practise water sports such as scuba-diving and underwater photography. The perfect place for an excellent rural holiday.
